Android - Why do I see a Celsium icon in the top bar?

The Celsium app runs mostly in the background, which requires us to show this icon.

On the Android app you'll see a notification icon (showing the ┬░C logo) at the top of the screen. This is because much of the Celsium app runs in the background so it can continue to monitor temperature after the screen has dimmed. Without this, the app would be stopped by the phone's operating system after a few minutes.

When you unlock the phone you will see a banner showing the Celsium logo and the app service title. You can double-tap on that to open the app directly.
